Graduated in Statistics and Demography at the University of Rome La Sapienza, Cristina Equizzi improved her skills from 1992 to 1996 in SOGEI, developing the project "Guardia di Finanza" about the processing of tax registry data. 

In 1996 she was involved in developing the calculation procedures for Sector Studies based on multivariate analysis techniques. Thanks to this experience, she took part in the SOGEI delegation that in 2001 in Buenos Aires developed the project to innovate the Argentine tax information system. 

She joined SOSE in 2002 and was at first responsible for the Sector Studies and Economic database, providing support in tax analysis. Since 2011 she has dealt with public finance, and in 2014 was entrusted with the responsibility for the Area "Analysis and Production of Standard expenditure Needs of local authorities." 

In SOSE, she was Statistical Development Manager providing statistical support to the production and service units. 

At present, she is Manager of the Public Finance Unit.
