The contribution of immigrants to the public budget

Do the immigrants legally resident in Italy produce more costs or more benefits? According to several studies, immigrants are essential for our social security system, which, without them, would risk collapse. In addition, taxes and social security contributions paid by immigrants far exceed public spending for immigration. Some figures put the so-called "immigration emergency" in the right perspective: taxes and social security contributions paid by foreign workers largely offset the costs incurred by the public administration for foreigners residing in Italy.. Here the article published on La Voce.info.
