Which are the new methodological frontiers of tax administration? How can statistical techniques and machine learning be used to improve services and efficiency of tax authorities and Local Governments in the age of Big Data? The study of economic phenomena, the new methods of data processing and statistical techniques used to do inference and forecasting are constantly evolving.

For more than 20 years SOSE, as methodological partner of tax administration, has developed important theoretical and methodological innovations together with new methods to acquire and analyse millions of information concerning SMEs and Local Governments.

The aim is to know and evaluate the best practices to improve the quality of services provided by public administrations raising also questions about new possible scenarios.
