According to the eighth report of the Permanent Observatory of the Chamber of Commerce of Rome published online, 57,5% of enterprises think that the main change due to the Covid crisis is the reduction in business enterprises while 50,9% think that it will cause a general impoverishment of the city. Covid & the City: according to Cerved Turin and Venice are the cities mainly suffering from economic impacts.

Cerved has analyzed for ANCI Covid-19 impacts on the enterprises in metropolitan districts, that could lose globally 321 billion Euro in revenues in the period 2020-2021in case of new lockdowns, almost the half of total national revenues.

 

Unimpresa: a deficit of about 8 billion euro in the balances of Municipalities.

According to an estimate of Unimpresa Research Department, municipalities’ revenues could register a 7,9 billion decrease in a total revenue of 39,7 billion. The computation considers above all tax revenues: with a 5,4 billion decrease is expected in a total revenue of 31,6 billion. The data are included in a thematic study.

The requests for loan moratoriums have stabilized at 2,5 million for a total value of 266 billion and the requests for guarantees on new bank loans for MSMEs submitted to the Fondo di Garanzia for SMEs exceed 570.000.
