Ben Lockwood is Professor of Economics at the Univeristy of Warwick, and has held visiting positions at the IMF and the European University Institute, among others.

He is a CEPR and CESIfo Fellow, and a Research Director at the Centre for Business Taxation at the University of Oxford.  He has served on numerous editorial boards and is currently on the editorial board of International Tax and Public Finance, and is an associate editor at Social Choice and Welfare.  He has also acted as a consultant on fiscal issues for the IMF,  and PwC.

Ben Lockwood’s research interests are principally in the area of public economics, political economy and behavioural economics. He has published on these topics in journals such as the Quarterly Journal of Economics, the Review of Economic Studies, International Economic Review, The Economic Journal, and the Journal of Public Economics.
