How can Data Science support Public Administration in extracting public value from the large information assets available? This is the question behind the third edition of SOSEWest, the Economic, Statistical and Technological Workshop organized by SOSE and linked to company’s mission and nature: to enhance the information assets available to public administration in order to strengthen policy making processes and to offer a concrete support in designing public policies.

The workshop, which will be held on 30 October 2019 in “Mauro Di Cocco” Room at the Headquarters of the Revenue Agency from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm, will be animated by debates on different and connected topics: from an overview on public policy evaluation tools, to identification of general economic balance models, up to the analysis of tax systems and Big Data. Each speech will stimulate reflection on arguments and contents concerning the need of Public Administration for innovation which aims to consolidate the path of growth and development of the entire country system thanks to these information assets.

This is the goal of WEST 2019 seminars, through which SOSE aims to provide an overview of the new methodological and technological frontiers with the contribution of experts and academics from the sectors of economics, statistics, finance science and information technology.
