As methodological partner of the Ministry of Economy and Finance SOSE has a clear goal, well represented by the pay-off that has always accompanied its institutional communication: to create value from data elaborating innovative methodologies and providing analyses and planning possible scenarios in order to support public decision-makers to make considered choices. 

Data are at the centre of SOSE activities and the dissemination of data culture is a fundamental issue of its institutional communication strategy. For this reason, the company decided to improve its communication services launching two new editorial initiatives: SOSExPress and podcast. 

SOSExPress is the weekly press review concerning economic issues aimed to provide a complete overview of the studies and the results obtained by institutional actors and by stakeholders. A tool to monitor the constant news flow in order to highlight news concerning debates, the most important researches and studies, news concerning ISAs, Standard Expenditure Needs and Local Authorities’ finance so as the main provisions issued by MEF. 

Through podcast SOSE intends to enhance the public debate about data culture pointing out the most significant studies and researches concerning economic issues, describing its own activities to support institutions and stakeholders and giving space to its numerous high-profile professionals who constitute its greatest asset. Both initiatives are well advanced and will be launched in the next few days. Two new communication tools with one aim: to support a high-quality public debate about data and contribute to the process of transformation towards a data driven society that has been launched in the last years.
