Prof. Vincenzo Atella graduated in Economics at Libera Università degli Studi Sociali (Luiss) and got a Master Degree at Stanford University. Since December 2018 he is CEO and General Director of SOSE S.p.A.
He is Full Professor at the Department of Economics and Finance – University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, currently on leave. He is Senior Economist of the Italian College of General Practitioners and President of the Italian Health Economics Association (AIES). Until 2018 he was Director of CEIS - Centre for Economic and International Studies, at the same University. His main research activity focuses on healthcare financing, evaluation of policies in the healthcare sector and the impact of new technologies on the results and the sustainability of healthcare systems.
