Economic and statistical models to evaluate enterprises and local authorities
The first part of the Workshop focused on issues concerning Public Finance, and in particular the methodology used to estimate Standard Expenditure Needs updated in 2016.
SOSE explained the most significant features of the new models and analysed the integration of standard expenditure needs with the definition of essential level of services (LEP) in order to define the role of standard expenditure needs in the allocation of equalization transfers.
