The Open Administration Week will take place this year from 17 to 21 May. SOSE, on Thursday 20 at 11 am, will hold a webinar dedicated to the Municipal Solidarity Fund, a financing tool aiming to to ensure an equitable allocation of resources to Italian municipalities.

The SOSE webinar will focus on Transparency by helping understand the Fund's mechanisms through guided reading of the data available on the page of the web portal dedicated to Municipalities.

The webinar is structured in three sessions: in the first Cristina Equizzi, Manager of the Public Finance Unit at SOSE, will introduce the Municipal Solidarity Fund (MSF) as part of the overall project concerning fiscal federalism in Italy; the second held by Larysa Minzyuk of the SOSE Department Research will focus on the mechanisms that regulate the MSF; in the third session Antonella Evangelista, a statistical analyst at SOSE will explain how to read the data through practical examples on the portal. The event will be streamed on the SOSE YouTube channel

The SAA is an initiative promoted and coordinated by the Department of Public Administration within the Italian participation in the Open Gov Week. The event aims to develop the culture and practice of transparency, participation, and accountability both in public administrations and in society.
