Corruption is constantly at the centre of the public debate, not only in Italy but also in other Countries. It remains a phenomenon difficult to detect because the judicial statistics consider only the violations known and investigated by Judicial Authorities and don’t consider violations actually committed that represent the famous “grey figure”.

On 21st, March Prof. Paolo Pinotti, associate Professor of Economic Analyses of Crime at the University of Milan “Bocconi” will hold the first seminar organized by SOSE Research Department on this issue. During the seminar two possible approaches to detect and to fight local corruption will be discussed.
