During the seminar of April 18th, 2019 Prof. Federico Belotti, professor of Econometrics at the Department of Economics and Finance of the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, will present a study on the technical (or economic) inefficiency of a set of production units.

The inefficiency can be estimated by means of different methods and in this study stochastic frontier models are used, that measure the difference between the optimal theoretical production and the actual one.
